Learning about the printer 9 Learning about the printer Basic functions of the scanner When configured with the printer, the scanner provides copy, fax, and scan-to-network capability for large workgroups. You can: • Make quick copies, or change the settings on the touch screen to perform specific copy jobs. • Send fax to multiple fax destinations at the same time. • Scan documents and send them to your computer, an e-mail address, a USB flash memory device, or an FTP destination. • Scan documents and send them to another printer (PDF by way of FTP). When the printer is converted into a multifunction device, all printer messages will be seen on the touch screen. Finding information about the printer What are you looking for?
