[OPTIONS(1)] 4. Using On-Screen Menu Selecting Fan Mode [FAN MODE] Fan Mode is used to set the speed of the internal cooling fan. AUTO The built-in fans automatically run at a variable speed according to the internal temperature. HIGH The built-in fans run at a high speed. Select this option when using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1700 meters or higher. NOTE: • It is recommended that you select High speed mode if you use the projector non-stop for consecutive days. • Set [FAN MODE] to [HIGH] when using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1700 meters or higher. • Using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1700 meters or higher without setting to [HIGH] can cause the projector to overheat and the protector could shut down. If this happens, wait a couple minutes and turn on the projector. • Using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1700 meters or higher can shorten the life of optical components such as the light module. • Your setting will not be affected even when [RESET] is done from the menu. Enabling or Disabling WXGA Mode [WXGA MODE] Selecting [ON] will give priority to WXGA (1280 × 768)/WUXGA (1920 × 1200) signals in recognizing an input signal. When [WXGA MODE] is set to [ON], XGA (1024 × 768)/UXGA (1600 × 1200) signals may not be recognized. In this case, select [OFF]. NOTE: • The [ON] is selected at the time of shipment. Selecting Still Image Mode or Movie Mode [IMAGE MODE] This function allows you to select the still image mode or the movie mode. NOTE: • This mode may not be available depending on input signal. 58

Selecting Fan Mode [FAN MODE]
Fan Mode is used to set the speed of the internal cooling fan.
