Reference Manual for the 54 Mbps Wireless Router WGR614 v5 Table 6-2: Connection Status Items Item Default Gateway DHCP Server DNS Server Lease Obtained Lease Expires Release Renew Description The WAN (Internet) default gateway the router communicates with. The IP address of the DHCP server which provided the IP configuration addresses. The IP address of the DNS server which provides network name to IP address translation. When the DHCP lease was obtained. When the DHCP lease was expires. Click the Release button to release the DHCP lease. Click the Renew button to renew the DHCP lease. Click on the "Show Statistics" button to display router usage statistics, as shown below. Figure 6-3: Router Statistics screen This screen shows the following statistics: Table 6-3: Item Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Router Statistics Items Description The statistics for the WAN (Internet) and LAN (local) ports. For each port, the screen displays: The link status of the port. The number of packets transmitted on this port since reset or manual clear. The number of packets received on this port since reset or manual clear. The number of collisions on this port since reset or manual clear.
