Smart Wizard, Configure Network Manually If you selected the Configure Network Manually radio button during installation, the Settings screen displays: If you saved a profile but did not type a name it is automatically saved as Profile. Figure 1-6 • If you are in a location with an unsecured wireless network, the Setup Wizard automatically connects to it. • If the wireless networks in your area use wireless security (strongly recommended) then you must know the Network Name (SSID) and the security settings in order to join a network. See "Joining a Network" on page 2-2. Using the USB Adapter Cradle You can use the USB cable to extend the range of your adapter and obtain better wireless reception. Follow the instructions to attach the USB cable, plastic cradle, and loop-and hook fasteners to a computer monitor. 1.
