3 Overview of functions The Nokia 6651 phone is a versatile multimedia phone that provides many convenient features for daily use. Some of these features are briefly described here. • CAMERA AND MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES Your phone has a built-in camera that can be used for taking photos and recording short video clips with sound. After you have taken a photo or a video clip, you can attach it to a multimedia message and send it using the multimedia messaging service (MMS) to a compatible device (network service). The photos can also be used as wallpaper in standby mode or as thumbnail pictures in contacts. • Support for GSM and WCDMA networks Your phone can be used in GSM 1900 and WCDMA networks. The WCDMA network allows fast communications and simultaneous use of several call functions. When the phone is using a WCDMA network, you can take a photo during a call and send it in a multimedia message without ending the call (network service). The phone selects the GSM or WCDMA network automatically according to the network parameters and the roaming agreements between the network operators. • GPRS FOR FAST DATA TRANSFER You can use the phone for GPRS (general packet radio service) high-speed data service. This is a network service. GPRS can be used for accessing WAP and Internet services, sending and receiving text and multimedia messages, and downloading Java games and applications (network services). The Nokia 6651 phone is a versatile multimedia phone that provides many
convenient features for daily use. Some of these features are briefly
described here.
• CAMERA AND MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES
Your phone has a built-in camera that can be used for taking photos and
recording short video clips with sound. After you have taken a photo or a
video clip, you can attach it to a multimedia message and send it using
the multimedia messaging service (MMS) to a compatible device (network
service).
The photos can also be used as wallpaper in standby mode or as thumbnail
