Sending a message from contacts You can send a text message to a person whose name or phone number is saved in contacts (network service). Press or in standby mode, scroll to the desired name and press Details. Scroll to the desired number, press Options and select Send message. Key in the message and press Send. For more information, see Writing and sending a text or picture message. • PROFILES (MENU 4) Your phone has several setting groups, called profiles, for which you can customize the phone tones for different events and environments. To use a profile, first customize its settings and then activate it. To access this menu, press Menu in standby mode and select Profiles. 1 Select a profile that you want to activate or whose settings you want to change. For example, select the Silent profile if you want to mute all the phone tones. 2 Select Activate, Customize or Timed. • To activate the selected profile, select Activate or Timed.
