Connecting optional amplifiers The TX-DS838 is equipped with a set of PRE OUT connectors, which allow you to connect external power amplifiers. With such amplifiers, you can play sources at even higher volume levels than with the TX-DS838 alone. Connect the TX-DS838's PRE OUT connectors to the power amp input connectors, then connect the speakers to the power amp.
