How to connect a 75/300 ohm antenna adapter (included) Connecting a coaxial cable 1. With your fingernail or a small screwdriver, press the stop- per outwards and remove the cover. 2. Prepare the coaxial cable as shown below. 3. Connect the 75/300 ohm antenna adapter to the coaxial cable RG-6 3 6 mm mm rnri, 15mm Connecting a T-shaped FM antenna or 300 ohm FM outdoor antenna N Directional linkage 1. Remove the red cord. 2. Insert the end of the cable. 3. Clamp in place with pliers AM indoor antenna connection Set it to the direction where you can receive the clearest sound, and as far away from the main unit as possible. If you bring it closer to the connecting wires you may get some interference. ANTENNA AM FM 750 O NOTE: If reception is unsatisfactory with the attached AM loop antenna alone, it is recommended that you attach an external antenna. Directional linkage type splitter To receiver To TV (or VCR) NOTE: Do not use the same antenna for both FM and TV (or VCR) reception since the FM and TV (or VCR) signals can interfere with each other. If you must use a common FM/TV (or VCR) antenna, use a directional linkage type splitter. AM outdoor antenna connection Do not remove the AM loop antenna. The external antenna will be more effective if you stretch it horizontally in a high place above a window, or outside. ANTENNA AM FM 750 O NOTE: AM reception is easily affected by television sets and VCRs. Therefore, AM reception may be poor if this unit is placed too close to a TV or a VCR. 10
