Setting the Dolby Pro Logic Surround Parameters When using video cassette tapes or video discs with the Dolby Surround trademark, you can achieve the same kind of sound in your room that can be experienced in a movie theater. Refer to page 43 for the basic operations. Select a source encoded with Dolby Surround. VIDEO-1 VIDEO-2 VIDEO-3 VIDEO-4 VIDEO-5 VIDEO-6 TAPE-1 MONITOR FM AM PHONO CD 2. Select the Dolby Pro Logic Surround mode. EOM 3. Turn System Setup ON and adjust the settings. (See page 31, System Setup.) Once the adjustments have been made using any of the surround modes except BY-PASS mode, it is not necessary to adjust the settings again if the surround mode is changed. NOTES: • Refer to "10. Initialize" on page 36 about the Initialize. • Refer to "9. Tone control" on page 35. Operating with the cursor on the screen using the remote control 1. Call the System setup screen and adjust the set- tings. (See page 31) Adjust each setting in the System Setup mode. 2. Press the ENTER/ESCAPE key to call the menu screen. 3. Move the cursor to Surround Setup and press the ENTER/ESCAPE key.
