Listening to devices connected to the TX-SV919THX in another room Multiple Room Remote System (I1T4 Please refer pages 16 and 17 for connection and set-up methods. • TX-SV919THX allows you to listen to the desired performance in another room (sub room) while listening to the Multi source pre out play- back of a device located in the main room. To do this, connect the stereo main amp terminals on the TX-SV919THX. • Connect the Stereo main amplifier to the MULTISOURCE PRE OUT on the TX-SV919THX and connect the speaker cables from the speakers in the other room to the speaker terminals on the Stereo main amplifier. • Remote control from another room can be done by employing the ONKYO multiple room remote system Tin ). Refer to the connections for multiple room remote control. Be sure to operate the remote control unit directing pointing to the remote sensor unit HR-10. • The following steps (except step 1 ) can be performed using the remote control unit. It is recommended that the adjustments described below be done in the main room in advance, since it is not possible to operate the remote control unit in another room while watching the display of the TX-SV919THX. • When using the included remote control unit (RC-267M), set A, B, C Selector switch to C (SUB ROOM). Only the functions related to the Multiple Room Remote system are output. Pressing the Input Selector button without first pressing the MULTI SOURCE button will change the source in the main room. • The remote control can be used to perform steps 2 and 3 by first positioning the A/B/C (SUB ROOM) selector switch to the C (SUB ROOM) position and pressing the SOURCE SELECTOR button. 4. Adjust the level using the VOLUME +1- buttons on the remote control. • MULTI SOURCE level will be indicated on the display. It is rec- ommended that the level be set lower in advance in the main room (-78 to -76dB). • Note that before adjusting the level using the VOLUME +/- buttons, set the selector switch on the remote control to the C (SUB ROOM) position. If the position is set to A or B, the MASTER VOLUME affects the speaker volume in the main room, not the sub room. m4 off button OR OFF) and indicator Use this button for tape recording. The
remote
control

the

the

be
indicated
on
the
display.
It
is
rec-
ommended
that
the
level
be
set
lower
in
advance
in
the
main
room
(-78

Note
that
before
adjusting
the
level
using
the
VOLUME
+/—

tons,
set
the
selector
switch
on
the
remote
control
to
the
C
(SUB
ROOM)
position.
If
the
position
is
set
to

or
B,
the
MASTER
VOLUME

the
speaker
volume
in
the
main
room,
not
the
sub
room.
The
source

by
the
Input
Selector
will
be
output

the
TAPE
-1
and

VIDEO

-2

source
is
selected,
ITR
OFF
will
automatically
be
deactivated.
If
the
multi
source
is
selected
for
REC
OUT,
ITR
OFF
will
auto-
matically
be
activated.
