Accessing the HD camera from multiple devices There are certain limitations when multiple mobile devices are connected to the camera at the same time, as explained below. Simultaneous access The following restrictions apply for most operations when multiple mobile devices connect to the camera at the same time. - Up to three mobile devices can use the camera at the same time while at home. - Up to two mobile devices can use the camera at the same time while away from home. - The maximum number of mobile devices that can use the camera is three. For subsequent mobile devices that try to use the camera, [Device is in use.] is displayed. Note: R Even if a mobile device is able to connect to the camera, certain features may be temporarily unavailable depending on how other mobile devices are using the camera. Other restrictions on HD camera features If a mobile device is viewing camera images R Other mobile devices cannot change certain settings for that camera. If a mobile device is playing camera recordings R Other mobile devices cannot play recordings from that camera. If a mobile device is accessing the recording list R Other mobile devices cannot access that camera's recording list. If a mobile device is talking to a camera R Other mobile devices cannot talk to that camera. HD camera main features HD camera main features (overview) You can use HD cameras to monitor and record the sights and sounds of the surrounding area. Built-in motion detection features allow cameras to record images automatically or send a notification to your mobile device when motion is detected. Additionally, built-in speakers and microphones allow you to talk to anyone who is near the camera. 152
