Thread Tension 2-needle top cover-stitch, narrow and wide Stitch programs 21, 22 If all the thread tensions are set correctly, the needle threads (blue and green) are barely visible on the underside of the fabric. The looper thread (purple) lies slack between them. The top cover thread (blue) lies slack between the needle threads on the top side of the fabric. If there are protruding loops in the top cover thread (blue), adjust the blue thread tension (45) of the top cover to a higher setting. If the top cover thread is barely visible, adjust the blue thread tension (45) of the top cover to a lower setting. The right needle thread (green) is too loose. Adjust the green thread tension to a higher setting. 7-17
