09 Controlling the rest of your system Controls for other components This remote control can control these components after entering the proper codes or teaching the receiver the commands (see Controlling the rest of your system on page 49 for more on this). Use the MULTI CONTROL buttons to select the component. Button(s) Function Components SOURCE Press to switch the component between standby and on. CD/MD/CD-R/VCR/DVD/LD/ DVR player/Cassette deck Press to return to the start of the current track. Repeated presses skips to the start of previous tracks. Go back channels (channel -). CD/MD/CD-R/DVD/DVR/LD player VCR Press to advance to the start of the next track. Repeated presses skips to the start of following tracks. Go forward channels (channel +). CD/MD/CD-R/DVD/DVR/LD player VCR Pause playback or recording. Start playback. CD/MD/CD-R/VCR/DVD/LD/ DVR player/Cassette deck CD/MD/CD-R/VCR/DVD/LD/ DVR player/Cassette deck Hold down for fast forward playback. Hold down for fast reverse playback.
