TV Guide º Can I set a Record or Remind event without highlighting a show title in the Guide? Troubleshooting Checkpoint 1 Yes. TV Guide On Screen has a Manual Record and Remind feature. Highlight Schedule and press menu. Choose the event type, press ENTER and then enter date, start and stop time, channel number, etc. I got listings after my initial Setup; however, some days read "No Listings." What do the frequencies for Record and Remind mean? Checkpoint 1 • Once-records/reminds the show one time • Daily (manual only)-records the time, channel, input, recorder combination Monday through Friday • Regularly- records/reminds for the channel/time combination on any day of the week, on the same channel • Weekly- records/reminds for the channel/time combination on a specific day of the week • Off (not cancel)-keeps the show in the list but will not record/remind the show until the frequency is changed Checkpoint 1 After initial Setup, it can take up to a week to populate the full 8 days of listings. Once populated, 8 days of information should always be available. My Guide listings disappeared after a power failure. Checkpoint 1 You should begin to receive listings again within 24 hours. Some channel numbers in the Guide are incorrect. How can I look for a specific show in the Guide? Checkpoint 1 Search lets you find shows by category (HDTV, Movies, Sports, Children, Educational, News, Variety, Series), Keyword, or Alphabetical. Checkpoint 1 You can correct them using Change Channel Display under Setup. I have not received any Guide show listings.
