Charging the battery pack

Step 1 Preparing the power source Charging the battery pack Use the battery pack after charging it for your camcorder. Your camcorder operates only with the "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack (M series). See page 197 for details of "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack. (1) Install the battery pack on your camcorder. (2) Connect the AC Adaptor supplied with your camcorder to the DC IN jack with the DC plug's v mark facing up. (3) Connect the power cord to the AC Adaptor. (4) Connect the power cord to a wall outlet. (5) Set the POWER switch to OFF (CHG). Charging begins. The remaining battery time is indicated in minutes in the display window. When the remaining battery time indicator changes to , normal charge is complete. To fully charge the battery pack (full charge), leave the battery pack attached for about one hour after normal charge is complete until the FULL indicator appears in the display window. Fully charging the battery pack allows you to use the battery pack longer than usual. 3 25 POWER VCR OFF(CHG) CAMERA MEMORY/ NETWORK After charging the battery pack Disconnect the AC Adaptor from the DC IN jack on your camcorder. 16
