Types of trouble and how to correct trouble When operating using the "Memory Stick" Symptom The "Memory Stick" does not function. Recording does not function. The HOLOGRAM AF light from the HOLOGRAM AF emitter deviates from the center of the image. The HOLOGRAM AF light from the HOLOGRAM AF is blurred making focusing difficult. The image cannot be deleted. You cannot format the "Memory Stick." Deleting all the images cannot be carried out. You cannot protect the image. Cause and/or Corrective Actions • The POWER switch is not set to MEMORY. c Set it to MEMORY (p. 107). • The "Memory Stick" is not inserted. c Insert the "Memory Stick" (p. 102). • The "Memory Stick" has already been recorded to its full capacity. c Delete unnecessary images and record again (p. 136). • The "Memory Stick" formatted incorrectly is inserted. c Format the "Memory Stick" using your camcorder or use another "Memory Stick" (p. 102, 177). • The write-protect tab on the "Memory Stick" is set to LOCK. c Release the lock (p. 100). • You cannot record data in the 100MSDCF folder.
