Chapter 5 UMID Functions 5-2 UMID Output and Display This section explains how to output and display UMIDs. 5-2-1 UMID Output Settings You can choose to output UMIDs or not from the SDI or SDI (SUPER) output connector, and select either Basic UMID or Extended UMID when you choose to output UMIDs. Make these settings using extended menu item 651, UMID OUTPUT. UMID Output and Display
This section explains how to output and display
UMIDs.

UMID Output Settings
You can choose to output UMIDs or not from the SDI
or SDI (SUPER) output connector, and select either
Basic UMID or Extended UMID when you choose to
output UMIDs. Make these settings using extended
menu item 651, UMID OUTPUT.

UMID Display
During playback, UMID data appears on the video

To display the UMID
Press the PLAY button while holding down the SHIFT
button.
To exit from UMID display
Press again the PLAY button while holding sown the
SHIFT button.
