Using the PARTY STREAMING function Audio contents currently being played back on this receiver can be also played back on all devices corresponding to the PARTY STREAMING function on your home network at the same time. If you encounter an interruption when using a wireless connection, connect your receiver to the router with a wired connection. While PARTY streaming, a device called a "PARTY host" starts a PARTY and streams music, and a device called a "PARTY guest" joins a PARTY and receives music from the "PARTY host". Before using the PARTY STREAMING function, make sure that "PARTY STREAMING" is set to "On" (page 99). Starting a PARTY You can start a PARTY so that other devices that support the PARTY STREAMING function can play the same music even though they are in different rooms. 1 Make sure the PARTY guest devices are turned on and ready to join a PARTY. 2 Play the sound source you want. Audio content of all the sound sources on this receiver can be streamed. Notes • Only audio contents on this receiver can be streamed. During PARTY host, video signals are not output to the TV, and audio signals will downmix to 2 channel. In this case, you can only select "2CH ST." as sound field. • When you start a PARTY as PARTY host, you may face a time gap between the audio output and visual display in the following cases. - The Audio Return Channel (ARC) function is used. - The video output of the equipment is connected to the TV and the audio output is connected to the digital or analog audio input jacks on the receiver. • Sources with copyright protection may not be streamed. 3 Press SHIFT, then hold down PARTY until "START PARTY" appears. The receiver starts PARTY streaming as a PARTY host. You can also use PARTY on the receiver to start a party. 74US

Using the PARTY
STREAMING function
Audio contents currently being played back on
this receiver can be also played back on all
devices corresponding to the PARTY
STREAMING function on your home network

If you encounter an interruption when using a

While PARTY streaming, a device called a
“PARTY host” starts a PARTY and streams
music, and a device called a “PARTY guest”
joins a PARTY and receives music from the
“PARTY host”.
Before using the PARTY STREAMING
