English Fueling Closing the fuel filler cap Change the fuel pickup body every year 370BA019 KN Before fueling, clean the fuel filler cap and the area around it so that dirt does not fall into the fuel tank. Dirt in the tank can contribute to poor running performance and engine failure. WARNING To avoid the risk of fire or other injuries due to escaping gasoline vapors, open the fuel filler cap carefully so that any pressure in the tank can escape slowly. WARNING Never use a tool to open the fuel cap. This could damage the cap and cause a fuel leak. Do not spill fuel and do not fill the tank to the brim. Opening the fuel filler cap 1. 2. Press the cap down with your hand as far as possible, turn it counterclockwise (approx. 1/8 turn) and remove it. 370BA093 KN 1. 2. N Insert the cap and turn it until it engages in the mount N Press the cap down with your hand and turn it clockwise (approx. 1/8 turn) until it engages completely and seals the tank.
