370BA064 KN English Replacing the V-belt 2 1 0 1 1 N Undo the nuts (1) N Turn the tensioning nut (2) counterclockwise with the combination wrench - approx. 1/4 turn, as far as it will go = 0 370BA037 KN 6 51 1 1 N Unscrew the nuts (1) N Remove the starter cover (5) N Do not remove the "cast arm and guard" (6) - hold it in place on the studs until the starter cover is fitted back in position N Remove the defective V-belt 370BA062 KN 10 10 10 51 1 1 N Fit the starter cover (5) over the studs (10) N Tighten up the nuts (1) by hand 4 3 370BA065 KN 4 3 N Pull the water hose out of the guide in the V-belt guard N Remove screw (3) N Raise the V-belt guard (4) slightly and pull it off to the front N Remove the V-belt from the front pulley 370BA061 KN 9 7 8 N Carefully insert the new V-belt (7) on the V-belt pulley (8) on the engine and the front V-belt pulley (9) NOTICE The belt action must run smoothly. 370BA063 KN N Push the V-belt guard (4) into place N Screw in the bolt (3) and tighten up N Insert the water hose into the guide in the V-belt guard (arrow) from the shut-off cock towards the guard - avoid tight radiuses Continue as described in the chapter "Tensioning the V-belt". 46 TS 410, TS 420

Undo the nuts (1)
N
Turn the tensioning nut (2)
counterclockwise with the
combination wrench –
approx. 1/4 turn, as far as it will
go =
0

Pull the water hose out of the guide
in the V
-
belt guard
N
Remove screw (3)
N
Raise the V
-
belt guard (4) slightly
and pull it off to the front
N
Remove the V
-
belt from the front
pulley
N
Unscrew the nuts (1)
N
Remove the starter cover (5)
N
Do not remove the "cast arm and
guard" (6) – hold it in place on the
studs until the starter cover is fitted
back in position
N
Remove the defective V
-
belt
N
Carefully insert the new V
-
belt (7)
on the V
-
belt pulley (8) on the
engine and the front V
-
belt
pulley (9)
NOTICE
The belt action must run smoothly.
N
Fit the starter cover (5) over the
studs (10)
N
Tighten up the nuts (1) by hand
N
Push the V
-
belt guard (4) into place
N
Screw in the bolt (3) and tighten up
N
Insert the water hose into the guide
in the V
-
belt guard (arrow) from the
shut-off cock towards the guard –
avoid tight radiuses
Continue as described in the chapter
“Tensioning the V
-
belt”.
