The optional Symantec Network Security In-line Bypass unit provides fail-open capability to prevent an unexpected hardware failure from causing a loss of network connectivity. The Symantec In-line Bypass Unit provides a customized solution that will keep your network connected even if the appliance has a sudden hardware failure.
