266 Managing log files Exporting data 3 In the left pane, under Log & Database Parameters, click this parameter to display it. 4 In the lower right pane, enter either the IP address or hostname of the node in which to place the logs. Note: We recommend that you always use the same name for the software or appliance node when exporting archived logs, establishing an authorized public key, or exporting scheduled reports. For example, do not refer to the software or appliance node by its FQDN in one place, and its IP address in another. 5 Click Apply. 6 In Apply Changes To, select the node to which to apply the parameter. 7 Click OK to save the changes to this node and close. Setting User Account for SCP User Account for SCP indicates the user name that log and database files are transferred to via SCP. To configure this parameter 1 Click Configuration > Node > Network Security Parameters. 2 In Select Node, choose the node from the pull-down list, and click OK. 3 In the left pane, under Log & Database Parameters, click this parameter to display it. 4 In the lower right pane, enter the user name for moving logs to the remote host. 5 Click Apply. 6 In Apply Changes To, select the node to which to apply the parameter. 7 Click OK to save the changes to this node and close. Setting Destination Directory for SCP Destination Directory for SCP indicates the directory on the remote host that log or database files are transferred to via SCP. To configure this parameter 1 Click Configuration > Node > Network Security Parameters. 2 In Select Node, choose the node from the pull-down list, and click OK.
