10.2 Bandwidth Control Bandwidth function, allowing you to control the traffic rate and broadcast flow on each port to ensure network in working order, can be implemented on Rate Limit and Storm Control pages. 10.2.1 Rate Limit Rate limit functions to control the ingress/egress traffic rate on each port via configuring the available bandwidth of each port. In this way, the network bandwidth can be reasonably distributed and utilized. Choose the menu QoS→Bandwidth Control→Rate Limit to load the following page. Figure 10-10 Rate Limit The following entries are displayed on this screen:  Rate Limit Config UNIT:1/LAGS: Select: Port: Ingress Rate (1-10000000Kbps): Click 1 to configure the physical ports. Click LAGS to configure the link aggregation groups. Select the desired port for Rate configuration. It is multi-optional. Displays the port number of the switch. Configure the bandwidth for receiving packets on the port. You can select a rate from the dropdown list or manually set Ingress rate, the system will automatically select integral multiple of 64Kbps that closest to the rate you entered as the real Ingress rate. 158
