Vertical Deletions A vertical band in the process direction (direction of paper travel) where the image is missing or extremely light. Initial Actions I Check that the paper supply is dry and fresh. I Check that the Print Cartridge ground contacts (on the right side of the Print Cartridge and in the Print Cartridge Side Guide in the printer) are clean. I Ensure there are no obstructions in the Laser path. I Check that rollers and other components in the paper path are clean and unobstructed.
