Drive Flow The Drive Gear Assembly transmits the mechanical energy created by the Main Motor Assembly to the printer subsystems: the MPT Roller, Turn Roller, Feeder Assembly, Registration Roller, Drum and Transfer Roller, Fuser, and Optional Envelope Feeder. The Exit Motor Assembly provides the power needed by the exit components. The pages following this figure show each drive section in more detail.
