Cleaning The Cleaning Blade removes any toner that remains on the drum after the transfer process. Immediately after passing the Cleaning Blade, the drum passes under the BCR. The BCR applies an AC voltage to the surface of the drum to neutralize any electrical patterns remaining from the last print cycle. Block Diagram of the Fusing and Cleaning Process - Side View The toner that the Cleaning Blade removes is collected inside the Print Cartridge.
