Chapter 3 The Web Configurator Table 10 Menu Panel LEVEL 1/2 LEVEL 3 General Configuratio n Server Configuratio n Data Configuration Maintenance Device List Upgrade Registration Notification Rule-based Alert FUNCTION Use this screen to maintain global reporting settings, such as how many days of logs to keep and default chart type. Use this screen to set up the SMTP mail server that Vantage Report uses for notifications and scheduled reports. You can use this screen to backup or restore the settings in the General Configuration, and Server Configuration screens. (The format is XML.) You can use this screen to export the current device window to an XML file, or you can add devices stored in XML format to Vantage Report. Use this screen to install new releases of Vantage Report. Do not use this screen to upgrade to the full version. Use this screen to upgrade to the full version, or increase the number of devices Vantage Report supports. Use this screen to allow the administrator or user to receive SMS notifications of rule based alerts and VRPT system alarms. Use this screen to monitor device behavior in real time according to customized conditions. User Management Group Account The Vantage Report supports multiple groups and users. Use this screen to manage (create, delete, edit) groups. You can also specify folders and devices this group users are allowed to view and manage. Use this screen to manage (create, delete, edit) user accounts. You can also right-click in the menu panel. The following menu appears.
