ADVANCED PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM D Do not allow organic solvent, car wax, window cleaner or paint coating to adhere to the camera. If this happens, wipe it off as soon as possible. If the camera is subjected to a collision, or the camera orientation confirmation lines are not in line with the bumper, it is likely that the camera position or angle of installation has become crooked. See your Lexus dealer as soon as possible. Use your own eyes to confirm the vehicle's surroundings, as the displayed image may become faint or dark, and moving images will be distorted, or not entirely visible when the outside temperature is low. When backing up, be sure to check behind and all around the vehicle visually and with mirror before proceeding. Do not attach any accessories within the detection range of the sensors. A sensor may not operate properly in the following situations. D There is ice, snow or mud on the sensor. (When it is removed, the normal operation will return.) D The sensor is frozen. (When the sensor warms up, it will return to normal.) At low temperatures in particular, sensors that are frozen may not detect a parked vehicle. D When the vehicle is tilted. D In extreme hot or cold weather. D When driving on bumpy roads, slopes, gravelled roads or grass. D issuing ultrasonic waves are operated around your vehicle, such as a horn from another vehicle, motorcycle engine, air braking sound from heavy-duty vehicles.
