InDesign displays the type styles available for the selected font. Expert kerning in PageMaker is similar to optical kerning in InDesign. Expert tracking in PageMaker is similar to range kerning in InDesign. Choose Hyphenation from the Paragraph palette menu. InDesign supports both paragraph and character styles. Choose New Paragraph Style in the Paragraph Styles palette to create a paragraph style. Choose New Character Style in the Character Styles palette to create a character style.
