Periodic Cleaning of Your Machine Cleaning the Print Head To prime the cartridge, push the bladder with a paper clip until ink fully coats the silver plate. 0 If the printout is not neat or is dirty, clean the print head. Remove it and wipe it carefully with a dry tissue. O Cleaning the Platen If the platen is stained with ink, wipe the ink off with a soft cloth or tissue paper. 116
