Deleting Old Records The DELETE function is used to delete any reconciled data in a range of dates. The function deletes both payments and deposits data and is used to make room in the memory. Unreconciled data, as well as the running and reconciled balance, are left unchanged. Warning: Before deleting old records, we suggest that you print them and keep the hard copy for future reference. O Select DELETE. [DATE]: Im/dd/yy Refer to "Choosing a Transaction Type" on / / page 48. Type the start date and press (RETURN) = NO DATA = Type the end date of and press ( RETURN ). PRESS ANY KEY (To specify the whole range, press RETURN) twice without typing.) DELETE OK? (Y/N) Thefirst display appears when there is no data in the specified range of dates. Press any key to return to the previous step. The second display appears when there is at least one transaction registered in the specified range of dates. Type Y and press RETU to confirm, or ACCOUNT[I] type N and press (RV-UR ) to cancel. function

data

dates.
The
function
deletes
both
payments
and
deposits
data
and
