56 CHAPTER SEVEN Sequential Polling In Sequential Polling, the reverse of Broadcasting, your FAX/MFC requests documents from several fax units, in a single operation. A Sequential Polling Report prints on completion. 1 Make sure no document is in the feeder. 2 Press Function , 1 , 2 . 3 Wait 2 seconds. The screen displays: POLLING:OFF . 4 Press or to choose ON. 5 Press Set . 6 Then press Stop . The screen prompts you to enter the fax number you are polling. ENTER FAX NO. PRESS START KEY 7 Specify the destination of fax machines, that you wish to poll by using One Touch, Speed Dial, or Group keys. 8 Press Start . Your FAX/MFC polls each number or group member in turn for a document.
