The POWER lamp flashes in orange with beeps When an error occurs, the POWER lamp blinks with beep sounds for warning. Count the number of beeps and identify the problem as described below. POWER lamp Beeps: 2 Cause: Paper out, paper jam, paper feed error. Solution: Set the paper correctly. If paper has jammed in the printer, remove the jam and press the RESUME button. RESUME button Beeps: 3 Cause: Paper jam. Solution: If paper has jammed in the printer, remove the jam and press the RESUME button. Beeps: 4 Cause: BJ Cartridge out of ink. Solution: Replace the empty ink tank. Beeps: 5 Cause: BJ Cartridge not installed correctly. Solution: Check that each BJ Cartridge is installed in the correct location. A Black BJ Cartridge or Photo BJ Cartridge must be installed in the left slot of the cartridge holder; a Color BJ Cartridge must be installed in the right slot. Beeps: 6 Cause: BJ Cartridge not installed. Solution: Install two BJ Cartridges.
