Movie Settings By holding down the button and turning the dial, you can set the exposure compensation. In the movie shooting mode and Creative Zone modes, the setting will be the same for the Picture Style, white balance, image-recording quality, and exposure compensation (except a). Shooting Still Photos You can take a still photo at anytime by pressing the shutter button completely, even during movie shooting. Taking Still Photos During Movie Shooting The still photo will record the entire screen including the semitransparent mask. If you take a still photo during movie shooting, the movie will have a still segment for about 1 sec. The captured still photo will be recorded to the card, and the movie shooting will resume automatically when the Live View image is displayed. The card will record the movie and still photo as separate files. Functions particular to still shooting are shown below. Other functions will be the same as for movie shooting.
