Remote Control Shooting Remote Controller RC-6/RC-1/RC-5 (Sold separately) Remote controllers to shoot wirelessly up to about 5 meters/16.4 feet from the camera. The RC-6/RC-1 can trip the shutter immediately or after a 2-sec. delay, and the RC-5 trips the shutter after a 2-sec. delay. RC-1 RC-6/RC-5 Remote control sensor Set the drive mode to (p.55). Point the remote controller toward the camera's remote control sensor and press the transmit button. X The camera will autofocus. X When focus is achieved, the self-timer lamp will light and the picture will be taken. Camera misoperation may occur near certain types of fluorescent lights. During wireless remote control, try to keep the camera away from fluorescent light. Remote Switch RS-60E3 (Sold separately) Remote switch with a 60 cm/2.0 feet cord for pressing the shutter button halfway or completely. It connects to the camera's remote control terminal. 194
