Use the maximum events per second information to set SNMP trap threshold values. The maximum number of events per second is the maximum for each SP. • For a CSS 11506, which may have up to six SPs, the maximum rate per second may be as high as six times the value appearing in this field. • For a CSS 11503, which may have up to three SPs, the maximum rate per second may be as high as three times the value appearing in this field. Details for each detected attack event, up to a maximum of 50 events per SP. The first time the attack event occurred. The last time the attack event occurred. The source and destination addresses for the attack event. The type of event. The total number of attack occurrences for the event. Resetting DoS Statistics To set the Denial of Service (DoS) statistics for the CSS to zero, use the zero dos statistics command in any mode. This command sets the values of the DoS statistics in the fields of the show dos command to zero.
