Restoring Files from the Archive Directory Chapter 1 Managing the CSS Software The options for this command are as follows: • restore archive_filename log - Restores an archived log file to the log subdirectory. • restore archive_filename script - Restores an archived script file or user-profile file to the script subdirectory. • restore archive_filename startup-config - Restores an archived startup-config file to the startup configuration. Restoring an Archived Log File Use the restore log command to restore an archived log file to the log subdirectory. The syntax for this command is: restore archive_filename log {log_filename} The variables are as follows: • archive_filename - The name of the archived log file. Enter an unquoted text string. To see a list of archived files, enter restore ?. • log_filename - (Optional) The name you want to assign to the restored log file. Enter an unquoted text string with a maximum of 32 characters. For example, to restore the log file arrowlog to the log subdirectory and rename the log file to arrowpointlog, enter: # restore arrowlog log arrowpointlog 1-28 Cisco Content Services Switch Administration Guide OL-5647-02
