D-Link DES-3326S Layer 3 Switch Security IP Management Management Stations IP Addresses designate stations that are allowed to make configuration changes to the Switch. This can be used in addition to standard SNMP security precautions (community strings). IP Management Stations may also be used with the more elaborate SNMP v3. SNMP Management configuration is presented in a separate chapter below. Figure 15- 12. Management IP Address Setup Select up to three management stations used to manage the Switch. If you choose to define one or more designated management stations, only the chosen stations, as defined by IP address, will be allowed management privilege through the web manager or Telnet session. To define a management station IP setting, type in the IP address in the area provided and click on the Apply button. 107
