OSPF information can be viewed in the following menus: OSPF LSDB Table OSPF Neighbor Table OSPF Virtual Neighbor Table OSPF Link State Database Table The Switch maintains two OSPF Link State Databases (LSDB) − Internal and External. The Internal LSDB describes the Link State Advertisements (LSA) for OSPF Antonymous Systems (AS). The External LSDB describes the LSAa for those ASs not belonging to OSPF. The internal OSPF Link State Database (LSDB) table can be viewed using the web-based manager. Figure 16- 8. OSPF LSDB Table The following fields can be set or are displayed: Parameter Description Area ID LSDB Type Adv Router ID Link State ID Displays the OSPF Area ID. Displays which one of four types of link advertisements by which the current link was discovered by the Switch − Router link (RTRLink), Network link (NETLink), Summary link (Summary), Autonomous System link (ASSummary). Displays the Advertising Router's ID This field identifies the portion of the Internet environment that is being described by the advertisement. The contents of this field depend on the advertisement's LS type. LS Type Link State ID 5 The destination network's IP address. Cost Sequence Displays the routing metric associated with the link. Displays a sequence number corresponding to number of times the current link has been advertised as changed. 116
