xStack® DGS-3620 Series Layer 3 Managed Stackable Gigabit Switch CLI Reference Guide 108-9 config wac switch_http_port Description This command is used to configure the TCP port which the WAC switch listens to. The TCP port for HTTP or HTTPs is used to identify the HTTP or HTTPs packets that will be trapped to CPU for authentication processing, or to access the login page. If not specified, the default port number for HTTP is 80, and the default port number for HTTPS is 443. If no protocol is specified, the protocol is HTTP. Format config wac switch_http_port {[http | https]} Parameters - Specify a TCP port which the WAC switch listens to and uses to finish the authenticating process. http - (Optional) Specify that WAC runs HTTP protocol on this TCP port. https - (Optional) Specify that WAC runs HTTPS protocol on this TCP port. Restrictions Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command. Example To configure a TCP port which the WAC switch listens to: DGS-3620-28SC:admin# config wac switch_http_port 8888 http Command: config wac switch_http_port 8888 http Success. DGS-3620-28SC:admin# 108-10 create wac user Description This command is used to create accounts for Web-based Access Control. This user account is independent of the login user account. If VLAN is not specified, the user will not get a VLAN assigned after the authentication. Format create wac user {[vlan | vlanid ]} Parameters - Specify the user account for Web-based Access Control. vlan - (Optional) Specify the authentication VLAN name. - Specify the authentication VLAN name. The VLAN name can be up to 32 1100
