Exercise care when handling the solid-state drive. CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the solid-state drive while the computer is in sleep or on state. Prerequisites 1 Remove the stability foot. 2 Remove the left and right side-panels. See "Removing the side panels". Procedure 1 Lay the chassis on the right side. 2 Locate the solid-state drive on the system board. 3 Remove the screw (M2x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board. 4 Slide and remove the solid-state drive from the solid-state drive slot on the system board. 76

Prerequisites

Remove the
stability foot

Remove the left and right side-panels. See “

Procedure
1
Lay the chassis on the right side.
2
Locate the solid-state drive on the system board.
3
Remove the screw (M2x2.5) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
4
Slide and remove the solid-state drive from the solid-state drive slot on the system board.
