When you finish changing settings, click OK at the bottom of the screen to save your settings and return to the Connect menu. Serial Menu Settings Settings Options Baud Rate 300 600 1200 2400 4800 9600 19200 38400 Word 7 Length 8 Stop Bit 1 2 DTR On Off Parity On Off Xon/Xoff On Off Robust Description Sets the data transfer rate (baud) for the serial interface. The baud rate is measured in bits per second (bps). See your computer manual and software documentation for the correct settings. Selects an 8-bit or 7-bit word length. Stop bits signal the end of a character. Turns the printer's ready communications protocol ON or OFF. You can use DTR (Data Terminal Ready) in combination with the XON/XOFF option setting.
