Closing the server case Caution Whenever you add or remove components from your server, make sure that the various cables, both data and power, are routed correctly before reinstalling the top panel. Incorrectly routed cables could result in cable damage, fan blockage, misalignment of baffles and ducts, and incorrect airflow within the server. To close the server case:

Make sure that all of the internal cables are arranged inside the case so they will not
be pinched when you close the case.

Slide the top panel’s edges into the server.
Caution
Whenever you add or remove components from your server, make
