Paging from the Base, Handset Paging Another Handset

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following procedures for the handset can ONLY be done with a Model 21098A handset. If you are using an optional Model 21009A handset, please refer to the Section "21009A Optional Handset Additional Instructions" in the latter part of this User's Guide. Paging from the Base 1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in talk mode). 2. Press PAGE/INT button on the base. P_ shows on the display. 3. Use the touch-tone pad to enter the handset number you want to page. PX shows in the base display, X is the handset number. NOTE: Press the 5 key to page all registered handsets. 4. The receiving handset is paged and emits a paging tone. PAGING FROM BASE shows in the receiving handset's display. 5. To cancel the page, press the *exit button on the base or handset or PAGE/INT button on the base. Or you can press the TALK/END/call back button or the int button on the handset of the receiving handset to enter intercom mode. Handset Paging Another Handset (This is ONLY applicable with the addition of Model 21009A optional handset) 1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in talk mode). 2. Press the MENU button to go to the main menu. 3. Use the  or  buttons to scroll to INTERCOM. 4. Press the SELECT button to access the intercom menu. NOTE: You can press the int button to shortcut to the intercom menu. 5. Use the touch-tone pad or the  or  buttons to select the desired handset you want to page. 6. Press the SELECT button to confirm. The receiving handset is paged and emits a paging tone. 7. To cancel the page, press the *exit button, int button or TALK/END/ call back button on the sending handset. Or you can press the TALK/END/ call back button or int button on the receiving handset to enter intercom mode. 36

Paging from the Base
1. Make sure the phone is
OFF
(not in talk mode).
2. Press PAGE/INT button on the base.
P_
shows on the display.
3. Use the touch-tone pad to enter the handset number you want to page.
PX
shows in the base display, X is the handset number.
NOTE:
Press the 5 key to page all registered handsets.
4. The receiving handset is paged and emits a paging tone. PAGING FROM
BASE shows in the receiving handset’s display.
5. To cancel the page, press the *exit button on the base or handset or
PAGE/INT button on the base. Or you can press the TALK/END/call back
button or the int button on the handset of the receiving handset to enter
intercom mode.
