Transferring External Calls To Other Handsets During an external call, you may transfer the external call to another handset. On the Base 1. Press the PAGE/INT button on the base to put an external call on hold, and then page the receiving handset. 2. Use the touch-tone pad on the base to select the receiving handset. You will hear a paging tone. PAGING FROM BASE shows on the receiving handset's display. 3. Press the speaker button on the base to transfer the call. If the receiving handset does not answer within 30 seconds, the base rings back. If the base does not answer within 20 seconds, the call is automatically dropped. On The Cordless Handset 1. During an external call, press the MENU button to access the talk menu. 2. Use the touch-tone pad or the  or  buttons to select 2 INTERCOM and press the SELECT button to confirm. NOTE: You may press the int button to shortcut to the intercom menu. 3. Use the touch-tone pad or the  or  buttons to select the desired handset or base you want to intercom with. LINE ON HOLD shows on the display. 4. Press the TALK/END/call back button on the originating handset to transfer the call. If the receiving handset or base does not answer within 30 seconds, the originating handset rings back and displays CALLBACK. If the originating handset does not answer within 20 seconds, the call is automatically dropped. Memory The cordless handset(s) and base all have separate memory storage areas which are not accessible to each other. You may store ten 24-digit telephone numbers in the base memory and fifty 15-character names and 20-digit telephone numbers in the handset memory. 44

Transferring External Calls To Other Handsets
During an external call, you may transfer the external call to another
handset.
On the Base
1. Press the PAGE/INT button on the base to put an external call on hold,
and then page the receiving handset.
2. Use the touch-tone pad on the base to select the receiving handset. You
will hear a paging tone. PAGING FROM BASE shows on the receiving
handset’s display.
3. Press the speaker button on the base to transfer the call. If the receiving
handset does not answer within 30 seconds, the base rings back. If
the base does not answer within 20 seconds, the call is automatically
dropped.
On The Cordless Handset
1. During an external call, press the MENU button to access the talk menu.
