SOLVEVX solves the equation. Example 1 Typing: SOLVEVX(X4-1=3) gives, in real mode: (x = −√2) OR (x = √2) or, in complex mode, even if you have chosen X as real: (x = −√2) OR (x = √2) OR (x = −i · √2) OR (x = i√2) Example 2 Typing: SOLVEVX(2X2+X) gives, in real mode: (x = −1/2) OR (x = 0) The TRIG menu contains functions that enable you to transform trigonometric expressions. Transform the arccos into arcsin ACOS2S has as a trigonometric expression as an argument.
