Cleaning the toner cartridge area is not
necessary on a regular basis. Before
cleaning, look for excessive toner in the
compartment.
WARNING!
Before cleaning the printer, turn the
printer off by unplugging the power cord,
and then wait for the printer to cool.

the toner cartridge.
CAUTION
To prevent damage, do not expose the
toner cartridge to light for more than a
few minutes. Cover it if necessary. Also,
do not touch the black-sponge, transfer
roller inside the printer. By doing so, you
can damage the printer.

With a
dry,
lint-free cloth, wipe any
residue from the paper path area
and the toner cartridge cavity.

Replace the toner cartridge and
close the printer door.

Plug the power cord back into the
printer.
