Scan to a PDF To save your scan as a PDF, follow these steps: 1. Load the original into the input tray or on the scanner glass. 2. Open the HP Scan software. 3. Scan text for editing (OCR) The HP Scan software uses optical character recognition (OCR) to convert text on a page to text that can be edited on a computer. The OCR software comes with the HP Scan and ReadIris Pro software. For information about using the OCR software, see scan text for editing in the online Help. Scan text for editing (OCR)
The HP Scan software uses optical character recognition (OCR) to convert text on a page to text that can be

Scan to email
Learn how to scan to email by using the HP Scan software.
NOTE:
To scan to email, make sure there is an Internet connection.

Follow one of the steps:

Email as JPEG
