CAUTION: If the oil reservoir is full, be careful when removing it, as oil can drip from the Carriage Rod screw. 5. Wipe the rear springs and clean with a lint-free cloth. 6. At the front of the printer, open the Officeability covers and look down into the chassis. Locate the lip designed to catch excess oil and clean the length of this with a lint free cloth. 7. Clean the front springs (there are no oil reservoirs on the front springs). You may need to repeat this treatment daily for a few days or weeks until the oil ceases to flow.
