Change wireless settings You can set up and manage your printer wireless connection and perform a variety of network management tasks. This includes printing information about network settings, turning the wireless function on or off, and changing wireless settings. To turn on or off the wireless capability of the printer The blue Wireless light on the printer control panel is lit when the wireless capability of the printer is on. 1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch (Settings). (Wireless), and then touch 2. Touch the toggle button next to Wireless to turn the wireless capability on or off. Select Reconfigure Wireless Settings. Follow the onscreen instructions. To change wireless settings using the HP Smart app 1. If more than two hours have passed since you first turned on the printer and you have not set up the printer wirelessly, place the printer in network setup mode by restoring the printer network settings. The setup mode will last for two hours. For information on how to restore the printer network settings, see Restore original factory defaults and settings on page 161. 2. Change wireless settings
You can set up and manage your printer wireless connection and perform a variety of network management
tasks. This includes printing information about network settings, turning the wireless function on or
off,
and
changing wireless settings.
To turn on or
off
the wireless capability of the printer
The blue Wireless light on the printer control panel is lit when the wireless capability of the printer is on.
1.
On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch
(Wireless), and then touch
(Settings).
2.
Touch the toggle button next to
Wireless
to turn the wireless capability on or
off.
To print the wireless network test report
1.
On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch
(Wireless), and then touch

To change wireless settings (Windows)
This method is available if you have already installed the printer software.

This method requires a USB cable. Do not connect the USB cable until prompted to do so.
